Many Bay Area parents eager to push their kids to learn coding, instead of teaching them how to fix their own toys, or bikes — which seems backward to me.
We shallowly introduce skills to our kids without purpose they can understand simply because for the chance of “high paying”

Not worth pushing kids to code (or other stuff imo). I liked anything mechanical, but the second I saw a computer, you couldn’t drag me away from it! I immediately pulled two all-nighters teaching myself to program.
No pushing is required when kids love something.

It's illegal for me to work at SpaceX because I'm a Canadian citizen and rockets are restricted under ITAR.
But, its also illegal to discriminate against people because of their nationality, so SpaceX broke the law by telling job applicants they have to meet ITAR restrictions.

Why hasnt anyone even estimated the annual benefit of Kamala’s tax on unrealized cap gains? I would bet its less than $50b a yr which is a round error in a $4T budget. But the job and tax losses from founders moving offshore wont be!

Zuckerberg funded local election commissions' mass mail in ballots & harvesting using Facebook data to ensure 99+% of the money went to Biden voters.
It's not the same thing at all. Zuckbucks violated FEC regulations, civil rights laws, & the voting rights act.
