Elon Musk and SpaceX have been true champions for Ukraine since day one of the full-scale invasion. Immediately after the russian attack became known, Elon ordered the dispatch of Starlink terminals. He didn't wait for a request from Ukraine and intervened to help the country before it was sent, something that not many people know. He activated Starlink, which restored vital connectivity when conventional networks were shattered.
This resilient satellite internet became the backbone of Ukrainian resilience. Starlinks are powering frontline coordination, drone operations, hospitals, emergency services, and civilian life amid relentless attacks. Tens of thousands of terminals keep forces connected and effective.
In 2026, Elon’s swift action to block unauthorized russian use of Starlink delivered game-changing results. It protected Ukraine’s air defenses, safeguarded the air force, and spared thousands of civilian lives, enabling the largest territorial gains in years.

The thinking keeps showing comments like 'Wow, that country-FE result is striking!' and 'The quadratic adjustment left a ~15-25% residual. Guess that's why we use splines!'
