Grok Build just got another workflow-focused update, bringing smarter controls, improved reliability, and better performance. Release Notes: v0.2.80 2026-07-01 Features: Command timeouts can now be configured per session with a foreground-only ceiling. Background tasks and TODO lists now survive compaction and remain visible to the model. Contextual hints can now be toggled individually for undo, plan mode, and image input. Bug Fixes: Subagent dialogs now reliably show full transcripts on open and reopen. Recap blocks now copy only the summary body, not the header label. Vim navigation keys now type into dashboard prompts, and modals properly handle Esc/Left. Performance: Network connections are now more resilient to proxy/load balancer drops.

Neuralink has solved through-dura electrode implantation! This is a very big deal, as it greatly improves the safety and ease of interfacing with the brain.

A few days shy of the United States' 250th anniversary, three women on @SCOTUSblog decided that it is wrong for "women with penises" to not play sports with women. Until 15 minutes ago, the 117 billion people who had ever lived on earth knew that distinction but these three

Whatever happened to Tesla’s Optimus V3 demo? My theory. Elon said that they stopped doing a lot of demos because the competition would simply copy what Tesla was doing after each showing. My theory is that Tesla engineers realized that they were further ahead on production

No, Optimus production will be extremely slow at first, as everything is new. This is not like making a car.

Atlas Shrugged made simple: 1. Society runs on a small number of highly capable producers industrialists, inventors, engineers whose work everyone depends on but takes for granted. 2. The system starts rewarding need over achievement: the more capable you are, the more

The dura is the brain's armor: a membrane so tough that a surgeon normally cuts through it with a scalpel. For the first time in our clinical trials, we inserted the electrode threads of our implant straight through the dura and into the cortex, keeping the dura intact. Here's
